Transit Fare Fines

 

 

 

Motion on the Floor at City Council:

Moved A. Paquette - A. Knack (Made at the October 8, 2019, City Council meeting): 

1. That Administration bring transit fare fines in line with fines levied for other modes of transportation, such as vehicle parking.

 2. That Administration provide a report to Committee outlining fines for all transportation options provided to Edmontonians, including cycling, walking, scootering, driving and public transit. 

3. That Administration provide a report to Committee on a jurisdictional scan of equitable fine payment options.
