2013 City Manager and City Auditor Evaluation Process

 

 

 

The Committee met in private at 10:11 a.m., pursuant to sections 17, 19 and 24 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.

The Committee met in public at 10:50 a.m.

 

 

Moved T. Caterina:

 

 

 

1.    That the proposed 2013 - 2014 Council Calendar include a meeting for the City Manager and City Auditor Performance Evaluation Committee in November 2013.

Four-year Performance Evaluation Plan for the City Manager and City Auditor

2.    That Conroy Ross develop a four-year plan for the performance evaluation processes for the City Manager and City Auditor, for consideration by the City Manager and City Auditor Performance Evaluation Committee at it's November 2013 meeting, including an abbreviated approach to the evaluation process that engages the City Manager and City Auditor, with the intention of aligning processes and procedures with Council's direction.

3.    That Administration work with Conroy Ross to develop an orientation package for Council for October of 2013 that will include an executive summary of the previous two to three years evaluations, and the legislative provisions respecting the authority and responsibilities of the City Manager and City Auditor.

4.    That the May 6, 2013, Corporate Services verbal presentation remain private pursuant to sections 17, 19 and 24 of the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act.
