3.    That Administration work with the Multicultural Health Brokers and other relevant stakeholders to identify a piece of land for development, appropriate as housing for newcomer/refugee communities, that could serve as a model for future needed projects, and include an update in the next annual report.

United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees #WithRefugees Campaign– Additional Information

4.    That Administration work with community organizations, agencies and stakeholders and provide a report outlining the implications and impacts of the City becoming a signatory of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees #WithRefugees campaign, how existing municipal programs or services might be enhanced or aligned to assist with issues and concerns of refugees, and what role the provincial and federal governments must play.
